Love never Sleeps

It wasn’t just love.
It was a stubborn love who went about town to seek His own.
Mountain high, valley low,
Love sought His own who has only believed a little like the mustard seed.
Through the darksome night,
In dreary winter and fallen hours, love was still searching.

It wasn’t just love.
It was a priceless love, who bought back His own from the shadow of death.
Love was hated, battered, struck down, yet never gave up.
As the brave day sunk into hideous evil night,
Lover defied all odds.

It wasn’t just love.
It was a love with motive.
Love saw through my weakness,Love smiled at me to help.
When the stings of old regret bites hard,
Moments of doubts when sleep has fled away,
Love never sleeps.
Love was there all through and through, watching over me.

It wasn’t just love.
It was Love eternal that bid me home to come
When all hope is gone, Love says only believe in me.
Love never sleeps.
Sometimes I could see Him walk the valley,
Searching for me In the valley of indecision.

Dreams may be shattered,
Oceans may rise,
Earth may quake,
But, Love will never fail,
Love will never sleep.
