White lies...

So funny just how music invade our sanity, especially love songs. It all started like a harmless sing- along- song until I listened more attentively to the words. Just to be sure I youtube the song titled” White Lies”. The song reminded me of the dangerous length love could go, defying all odds.

Think I was 8 or 9 yrs old then. Did remember I stole my mum’s gold earring and gave it to supposedly the love of my life during Sunday school class. She showed it to her mum who was like mad, and had to return it back to my mum.
I happened to be the first and only son, with three younger sisters. On the home front, we live under a very strict parental upbringing, but I just didn't think through or count the consequences of my action ( White Lies) because I was too much in love with this girl.

Back to “white lies”, the chorus reads...
Just another white lie,
I did it to get close to you,
Will tell millions more
White lies, x2
Just another white lies, did it to get close to you.

Million more white lies? Nah...Not Jesus! He is who he says he is. A straightforward holy God. Maybe you feeling lonely Or maybe you are in the middle of crisis, sickness, debt tossed by creditors, or divorce, a runaway lover who promised you heaven but gave you hell, infected you with incurable diseases, flew with you partner or feeling guilty for what you have done.
Can I encourage you a bit about Jesus? He has done all that needs doing to get close to you. To prove his love for you, he defied all odds and went to the cross.

He says. The thief has come to steal, to kill and destroy, but I have come that they may have life and life in abundance, john 10vs10.
He says. They shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sins no more.” Jeremiah 31vs34.
Finally, He says, so do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand,” Isaiah 41vs10.
Take this time-out; pour your heart to Jesus. He is waiting for you. He can bear your pain and shame more than the thought of your hopelessness.

I tot of u, now & always.
