He woke up this morning feeling depressed.
He felt his dreams are slipping away.
He loves the Lord but he is struggling to live it up.
He can not understand why his moments of breakthrough has to
come with pressures,
If not emergency.
Where is God he asked?
He is one of us, who loved the Lord but sometimes wonder if
He does.
He want answers but not ready to wait.
He needs to stay still and know God still cares.
In his moments of solitude, He can recall God’s faithfulness,
but his weary heart will not just let me think straight.
Then I looked straight in his eyes to remind him of God’s faithfulness
repeatedly.
How Love came down to save you, to rescue you.
God never said it was going to be easy, but He said my grace
is sufficient for you.
Your struggle is an indication you have not given up on God,
cuz He will never give up on you.
Dream again. Say that prayer one more time.
Pour out your heart to God. He is waiting to help.
Then I remind him: Mountain high, valley low
Through the thick and thin, when the stings of old regret
bites deep,
And all prayers unanswered yet,
Lift those weary
hands high up to Heaven and declare:
Jesus I still believe.
I am yours forever.
